I’ve been deeply devoted to God. Not always perfect; trust me, I’m here by His grace. But over the years, I’ve put in the time. I’ve studied. I’ve questioned. I’ve prayed. I’ve wrestled. And somewhere along the way, my belief in God became something deeper.
I don’t just believe in God anymore.
I know Him.
And for the first time, that knowing is converging with my passion for technology.
Back in 2019, I wrote a surface-level blog post asking what AI might do to our sense of identity. Nothing groundbreaking. But now it feels like a mile marker. A timestamp in my digital life that said, you were paying attention.
Then, roughly two years ago, I got a very clear call from God:
Write about the intersection of Faith and Tech.
At first, I ran from it. I felt fearful, overwhelmed, unsure as to how others would perceive me and how to speak to both worlds at once. Like Jonah, I went the other way.
But last week, something shifted. I listened to a podcast and read a post that gave it a shot, talking about AI, religion, and the future. It was a fun read. Well-written. But it lacked depth. It lacked reverence. It lacked God.
And in that moment, I felt it again.
The call.
The conviction.
The heart-felt “you were made for this.”
So here we are.
Faithful Founder is my new digital home. A space to explore the intersection of faith and technology through a Catholic lens. It’ll live as a newsletter, a journal, maybe a podcast later. Call it an experiment. But it’s happening.
It won’t be perfect. It might not even be consistent.
But it will be real.
Here are a few of the questions I’ll be unpacking:
What does faith look like in a tech-driven world?
Why do people question their religion, their parents, their values but never question AI?
What does authenticity in faith actually mean when identity itself is being digitized?
How is the Catholic Church engaging with AI, blockchain, and the new digital economy?
Are your beliefs truly yours or just inherited code?
Sometimes I’ll share prayers. Other times, philosophical takes. Maybe even critiques. But everything will flow through the lens of my faith. Not inherited, chosen. Catholic, by conviction.
I don’t know exactly where this will go. But I know I’m supposed to start.
If you’re someone asking deeper questions about where God fits in a world of algorithms, data, and digital identity you’ll feel at home here
.
Here for it! <3
I’m absolutely here for this topic! I have not engaged with AI out of a stubborn act of defiance but also because I’m truthfully just afraid to see where it’s all leading. As a fellow Christian, I am so looking forward to your unique perspective through a spiritual lens. 🙌🏼
